Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.

Serving.LOVE is a program of Educational Support Foundation, a non-profit organization. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “our,” it means Educational Support Foundation operating as Serving.LOVE. This policy covers the website at serving.love and the programs we run through it — the Love Challenge email, Discovering Joy, Pennies for Praise, speaking and workshop bookings, group Encouragement sessions, and personal coaching.

Contact details. Your name, email address, and — if you choose to give it — your phone number, when you subscribe to the Love Challenge, fill in a form, request a workshop, or book a coaching session.

What you tell us. Whatever you write in a message, form, or booking request. If you reach out about something painful, that message is treated as private and is not shared.

Organization details. If you book a workshop or speaking engagement, we collect your organization name, role, event date, and related logistics.

Payment information. Coaching fees and donations are processed by third-party payment processors. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only a confirmation, the amount, and the last four digits.

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring site. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.

Cookies. We use cookies for essential site function and for basic analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as well if you do. [If you add advertising pixels such as Meta or Google Ads, disclose them here.]

We will not share your phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers may be shared with our SMS service providers solely for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf.

Mobile information will never be sold or shared with third parties or lead generators for marketing purposes.

You only receive texts from us if you actively opt in by checking an unchecked consent box or by texting us first. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not remove you from our email list, and opting out of email does not affect texts — each is separate.

If you subscribe to the Love Challenge, we send you a weekly email and occasional news about Serving.LOVE. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribes promptly. We do not rent, sell, or trade our email list.

If you bought the book or contacted us about a workshop, we may email you about Serving.LOVE — and you can unsubscribe from that just as easily.

To send the Love Challenge and other material you asked for; to answer your message; to schedule and deliver workshops, speaking engagements, and coaching sessions; to process payments and donations; to keep records required of a non-profit; and to improve the site.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

We do not sell your personal information. We never have and we will not.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate — our CRM and messaging platform, our email platform, our payment processor, and our website host — and only to the extent they need it to do that work. They are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.

We may disclose information if we are legally required to, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm to someone.

Serving.LOVE Finding JOY is sold through Books.by. When you buy there, your purchase and payment information is handled under Books.by’s privacy policy, not ours. We receive your name, email, and order details as the author of record. We will only add you to the Love Challenge email list if you ask us to.

The Where Are You Hurting? worksheet used in Discovering Joy workshops is anonymous by design. Sheets are unsigned, folded, mixed, and redrawn so that no one — including the leader — can connect a sheet to a person. We do not collect, photograph, transcribe, or retain worksheet responses other than a count of the number of responses to questions to equip all leaders to understand the intensity of pain points. All worksheets are destroyed after counting responses.

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Where we work with youth groups, we do so through the adult leaders responsible for those young people. We do not collect contact information directly from minors, and any minor participating in a workshop does so with the permission of their leader, parent, or guardian.

You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any message. You can stop texts by replying STOP. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email ha**@*****ng.love and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy laws. We will honor those rights regardless of where you are.

We keep contact information for as long as you want to hear from us, and for as long afterwards as we are required to for records and accounting. Financial records are kept as long as non-profit record-keeping rules require. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.

We use reputable platforms with industry-standard protections, limit who can access your information, and do not store payment card details ourselves. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we take this seriously, because some of what people tell us is deeply personal.

Our site links to other places — Books.by, YouTube, social media, and others. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply, not ours.

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top, and if the change is significant we will say so by email.
